Furshman and Davis Family Chiropractic Centers Newsletter
June 2007, Volume 1, Issue 6

We will be open on Independence Day,
Wednesday, July 4, from 10AM until 12 NOON.

June is for Dad

There is no better security than Dad...

I am sure that as with most, the security that your father provides cannot be matched. I will always remember how safe my father made me feel as a child during long drives back from the Keys on Sunday nights. I could sleep soundly because I knew Dad was at the wheel, watching over us and protecting us. As we raise our own children we attempt to instill this same sense of security into their consciousness. More than anything, we want our kids to feel safe.

As your Chiropractors, we have a somewhat similar role. Through our care and education, we attempt to help you regain your faith or security that your body is capable of self-healing. Like a father, we attempt to guide you to practical suggestions for choices in health. When you fear, we try to be there for you, to help you believe in yourself. We want you to replace your fears with faith. Finally, as a father, despite the circumstances, we love you unconditionally.

A special congrats to our newborns: Eric, Dylan, Dalyth, Emili, Mathew and Gabriela. Beautiful new babies already under chiropractic care... Great job, Moms and Dads!

Saturday, June 23 from 10 to 12.
Friends and family members who have never been in the office can come in and get evaluated and receive their first adjustment for no out-of-pocket charge.

Congratulations to Maritere Secada and Ilana Rodan, this month's patients of the month.  Thank you for going the extra distance to help those in need.

Remember -- Friends and Family Day... Saturday, June 23, from 10 to 12.

Thought of the month...Why don't dead people get fevers?.
The answer is because they lack the ability to heal. Contrary to what many believe, a fever is not caused by bacteria, but is actually a sign that your body is detecting and fighting off an invader. So the next time you get a fever, instead of referring to yourself as being sick, be thankful you are alive and have the ability to heal.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY AND GOD BLESS.
